Terms Of Service

please read these terms carefully before making your order

I, Rin, the artist, may change the guidelines/terms and conditions of my art commissions at any time without warning, every update I do on this page is put in the "Updates" section on the left side of the screen including this changes, but the new changes will not apply to previous and pending commissions at the time of the update, only future.

By purchasing my services (art), you automatically agree to the following conditions as well as my rules which are public and will be reminded as necessary. If you are not comfortable with my Terms Of Service and/or are not willing to agree to the conditions, you may not request a commission.

Use

I reserve rights over the commissioned piece throughout the process of creation and thereafter. This means I have the right to upload the piece on social media, share it with others or use it as a commission example in my page, unless you specify otherwise. I’ll ask if you don’t wish to have your commissioned art shared first to be sure!

Any artworks created are for personal use only, not commercial. My creations may be used for personal cups, bags, t-shirts, and other products, with my permission. You may create these products with my art only if you have been granted permission by me and the products you’ve created are for not for commercial use. You may not sell anything that includes my work.

You may only upload the artwork publicly if the watermark is visible, you may not claim my work as your own.

Payment and refunds

I use PayPal for the payment of current commissions. If you commission me, I will contact you and send you a payment request due in 10 days, once it is paid, I will start your commission. If the request is not paid, I will have to cancel the commission.

All transactions $x USD or less are to be paid in full upfront before work begins, transactions above $x USD are to be paid in 50% upfront payment and 50% upon completion. There are no refunds for finished art. If you happen to send the wrong amount of money, I will refund it and pause the commission process until the correct amount is received. I normally send payment requests to stop this scenario from occurring.

I hold the right to decline any commission if it's contents are listed or related to my Won't draw list or if I’m not comfortable drawing it. If such a thing occurs after you’ve already paid, I can provide a refund.

Commissions typically take me about 3 weeks (at most). If I have still not finished the commission by the 3 weeks guideline, I will offer a complete refund (if the art is below the coloring stage) or partial refund (if it's between the coloring stage and the finished stage).

Process

Progress pictures of the commission will be provided throughout the process, which will be divided in these 4 stages: sketch, lineart, Coloring and finished. I will provide an estimate time for completion, and/or indicate if there is a delay in completing your commission. You may request additional progress pictures at any time. This is all free of charge!

You can request changes during the sketch and lineart stages. Changes in the coloring stage that are not about the colors will cost extra, you’ll be required to pay this in order to receive your commission.

Once the commission is finished you will receive an HD image file of the original artwork. Digital artwork will only come as an HD image file, not a print.
